Brunston Castle

Sandy and I just returned from a quick break at Brunston Castle - one of the resorts operated by SeasonsHolidays. It was very quiet, comfortable and friendly. Despite having atrocious weather (November gales and rain!), we visited Girvan, Maybole, New Galloway - and explored the surrounding area by car.

We were extremely impressed by the well-organised walks in the area and plan to return in the spring and explore more of the area by foot.

Brunston Castle is situated in the village of Dailly - which is only a few miles from Turnberry (one of Scotland's premier golf courses.) There is also a lovely golf course at Brunston Castle - and I am certain that there are more courses available in the surrounding countryside.
